We know it's hard for anyone to put their trust in someone you hardly know and send them all your hard earned cash but at the end of the day you need to trust someone if you want your ‘dream home’ in Turkey. We put our trust in Turkish Real Estate. They were absolutely brilliant from start to finish. Our ‘dream home’ was bought off-plan and as you can imagine we were very worried, we didn’t know what to expect… Adnan Ozcolak, the director of Turkish Real Estate, elevated most of our fears by giving us sound advice and keeping us informed every step of the way. Photos of every stage of the new build were frequently emailed, from down to the council marking the property out; the foundations being laid; and to the first brick firmly in place. He kept us sane, answered all our all questions, no matter how trivial, through the whole buying process. When we eventually returned to Marmaris some 11 months later we found everything to be as he said it would be. Our house looked even more breathtaking than it did in the photos. This was/is our perfect Turkish ‘dream house’.
His after sales care and the advice he administered was ‘spot on’. We rode around for hours in his car looking for white goods, furniture, curtains, arranging house/contents insurance etc. Nothing was and still isn’t too much trouble.
If we are ever in the position to buy another property in Turkey we would have no hesitation in using Turkish Real Estate again. We thank Adnan and his beautiful family from the bottom of our hearts for turning our Turkish dream into reality.

I have recently purchased a two bed apartment in Marmaris through Turkish Real Estate. I first met Adnan the Director in 2005 when I was on holiday from Ireland with my friends. I was extremely impressed with his kind welcome and concise information regarding the purchase of property in Marmaris and Alanya the two areas in which i was most interested. Unfortunately due to changing circumstances I had to postpone the purchase until early 2009. I visited Turkey on several occasions and always paid a visit to Adnan and family who continued to update me on the property market and treated me as a friend. I had built up a good rapport at this stage and felt that I could trust him completely.
When I finally purchased my property in Marmaris I found him to be effecient, helpful and informative regarding all aspects relating to sale. I felt I could pick up the phone to him at any time with any queries (and they were numerous) and he was always most obliging and good humoured.

We first met Adnan Ozcolak in October 2004 when we went to Turkey with the intention of buying a property in Marmaris. We viewed a few properties with various agents but felt we were being pushed and being charged over the odds for what we looked at. We were on the verge of leaving it, when we happened to walk into Adnans agency and explained to him what were after and what we'd been quoted. He showed us the properties he had and by chance he had the very same apartment we had our hearts set on,but were quoted a price out of our price range by another agent. He said this price was unbelievable and could get this price down by £10,000, by negotiating with the seller. He duly did this and from thereon his service from start to finish has been amazing.
He has acted on our behalf in every way, from being our power of attorney, to assisting us in furnishing our property, to getting us registered with the electric and water companies, and generally he has happily provided everything we have asked of him. His fees for this excellant service were very reasonable and by far and away much cheaper than the other agencies we encountered.
His travel business, Outback, is also very good with many great excursions on offer, and he also organizes your transfers to and from the airport. We really cant speak highly enough of his company and him personally who has become a very good friend who is always happy to help and will always be highly recommended by us.

Adnan had been an acquaintance for some years before I had contemplated buying a property in Turkey, and indeed, I was unaware he even had a real estate business as well as Outback Travel. That’s the kind of guy he is - not pushy. But something so important deserved much careful consideration, and I didn’t feel I wanted to be pressured into making any rash decision. I owed it to myself to pursue all avenues-which included property viewing with other agents in as many areas as I could “cram” into my precious time in Turkey. Adnan was very appreciative of this, and even encouraged me to do so, but I found myself always going back to him for his advice. This he gave without hesitation, and was totally unbiased. Then he took me to a site where some apartments were to be built, and the agonising was over! I had to buy there! From that moment, I have never been so happy.
He e-mailed photos of every stage, and was always ready to answer any questions - no matter how stupid I felt asking them! But he didn’t stop there…… even now - almost 12 months after completion, he still continues to be there to help in any situation imaginable.
I would trust this man with my life, and I can’t express to anyone how much I appreciate all he, and his lovely wife, have done for me.

A few years ago my wife and I decided to try and find a place on the Mediterranean where we could vacation and also rent out when we weren’t there. We eventually decided that Turkey would be best, and on one of our trips to the Antalya area we arranged to meet Adnan Ozcolak. During our email correspondence with him he impressed us greatly with his reliability and professionalism. He also had some amazingly beautiful properties that really fit our desires and budget. When we met Adnan in person, he made us feel completely at ease. As Americans who had never invested in foreign property, we were concerned not only about whether we would find any places we liked but also whether the process to buy would be transparent and reliable. In fact, with Adnan’s help, it was actually much easier and quicker to buy a place in Turkey than anywhere in the US!
Adnan didn’t rush us into any purchases, but when we did decide to move forward he was with us through the entire process every step of the way. In the end, the paperwork took only a few days from start to finish and we had a few spare days to spend on the beach!
The place we eventually bought was in Gazipasa, right on the beach and next to a gorgeous secluded cove. It’s wonderful, but quiet - which is exactly what we wanted. Adnan warned us that because it was in a quieter area it might be hard to rent out, but in fact we have a constant stream of renters every year, even outside of the high season. In fact, because we felt so at ease with Adnan, we use his management company to handle everything related to renting. He arranges maid service, key drop-off, pickup of renters, and rental cars. Because we use a website to advertise and email to communicate with Adnan, we do all this from our permanent home in the US.
Buying our place in Gazipasa was a great experience, and renting it is a breeze. And, we fully expect it to be even better in the future, now that the airport has opened up. If anyone needs to know more about our experience with the area and Adnan, please feel free to email us.

Adnan is perhaps the most honest person I have met in the real estate market. I purchased a property from him. He is meticulous, punctual, and always keeps his word. I often tell people around me about one particular deal we had. Even when higher offers came in, the title deed process became difficult, and I myself almost gave up, he kept fighting through every obstacle because he had given me his word, and eventually delivered the title deed for the apartment I wanted. There is much more I could write, but above all he is a generous, principled man who loves his country and does business with modest margins. I wish him continued success and prosperity.
